Tom Cruise may have to have a sit down talk with his son Connor after the 20-year-old hit out at Caitlyn Jenner.
The DJ allegedly said that he doesn’t think Caitlyn ‘deserve’s’ the Arthur Ashe Courage Award for going public with his gender transition.
The Mirror reports that Connor tweeted: "Really?? Winning the AA award for courage?? Ashton is gonna come out and yell PUNK’D.”
He continued: "Don't get me wrong. Do what you feel like doing and don't let anyone stop you. But everyone is taking this way too seriously.
"There are so many more important things that should be talked about…And SO MANY MORE IMPORTANT PEOPLE that actually deserve an award."
He wasn’t finished. Nicole Kidman’s adopted son then added: "I'm totally supportive of people staying true to themselves and finding true happiness in whatever way they can.
"There are just way more things that we as a nation and as a planet should be talking about and working on."
Connor then suggested that concentration was centred on overfishing instead of Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.
He then deleted the messages before attempting to explain his bizarre Twitter rant.
The musician wrote: "Totally twisting what I said, if you read what I said I totally support being happy and am glad she is happy.
"We just need to as a nation and a world get back to business and making everything a better place."
Caitlyn, 65, made headlines earlier this week after she revealed her new body and name as a woman.
Formerly known as Bruce, the former athlete has found stardom in his later years as Kim Kardashian’s step father on the family’s hugely popular reality show.
