Tina posted a cryptic post on Instagram after Ryan's announcement
Fans are making their loyalties known in the aftermath of the social media spat between Tina O’Brien and Ryan Thomas, following his baby announcement with fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh.
And after Tina hit out at her ex with a cryptic Instagram postwhere she urged people not to “always trust what you see on social media”, it looks as though the masses are siding with her on this one.
In particular, some fans felt uncomfortable with Ryan “using” the ten-year-old daughter he shares with Tina, Scarlett, to break the news to his followers, with a video showing her bursting into tears at the news.
Many have pointed out that the tears might not have been “happy” ones after all, with one commenter writing on Tina’s post, “I watched the video of the balloon announcement and I found the whole thing very uncomfortable to be honest.
"Firstly didn’t think it was fair on the child to have it all so public. Children instinctively know when they have a reaction expected of them and the poor girl didn't know what to do and so responded with tears."

However, some pointed out that by deleting her original quote and replacing it with another one, Tina was actually just drawing attention to her “jealousy” and “insecurities”.
“I think by putting posts up like you have, you have just embarrassed yourself and drawn attention to yourself which either makes you sad or jealous,” said one commenter.
“If you have any issue with your daughter being told she is going to have a half sister or issue with their relationship or the fact that it was done publically, then you take it up with the father in private."
