The former Coronation Street actress, 31, and her partner Adam Croft welcomed their new addition at the weekend, and are yet to decide on a name for him.
A source told the Mirror: "Tina and Adam are over the moon with their new arrival. They are a really down-to-earth couple and everyone in the area is delighted for them."
Tina is already mum to daughter Scarlett, 5, from her relationship with fellow Corrie star Ryan Thomas.
Last month Tina – who played Sarah-Louise Platt for eight years on the ITV soap – tweeted her pregnancy discomfort.
She wrote: "Struggling to get out of bed, have to shuffle over bit by bit. I'm like a bus doing a 10 point turn #heavilypregnant [sic]"
She and Adam have been together for three years. Speaking of him recently, Tina gushed: "Meeting him and falling in love was so unexpected.
"Adam is all of the things I want in a man. He is wonderful, very, very caring and supportive and he makes me happy.
"It's hard to explain how special he is, but I know he's got my back."
