Things took an awkward turn for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning when they discussed their sex life
Viewers were in for a shock today when Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford joked about their sex life live on television.
On This Morning, the TV presenters were discussing whether you and your O/H should schedule time in for your sex life. After Ruth asked viewers whether they'd set aside time for sex, Eamonn admitted: "I'd take whatever I can get."

1 - Wear socks during sex and for the week after to keep your feet warm
2 - Eat McDonalds chips immediately after sex
3 - Eat dark chocolate every day
4 - Avoid having an orgasm for a week after sex
6 - Eat pineapples and drink pineapple juice
5 - Use reverse psychology and tell yourself you don’t want a baby, then have a wild night out and forget about ‘trying’
8 - Pierce your nose on the left side
7 - Wear green and use green bedsheets
9 - Don’t just put your legs in the air but ‘bicycle’ them for at least three minutes

Ruth then went on to say: "Maybe we’re underestimating what it can do for your relationship."
Her husband then added: "Well I'm just thankful, whenever, I'd take whatever. That's it."
While Ruth slapped her husband's knee and laughed their conversation off, viewers took to Twitter to comment on the couple's discussion, with one person writing: "Eamon talking about sex makes me want to vomit #ThisMorning"
Someone else said: "The image of Eamonn in a silk kimono is forever engrained in my mind now 😂😂😂 "
A third wrote: "@thismorning Ermon advising us to have sex at 6:30am 🤣🤣🤣🤣 "
Other's commented on the segment of the show, with one viewer admitting: "We live a really busy bee lifestyle most of the time but I have to say that I really wouldn't like scheduled sex with my husband. I would feel so pressured and start getting bad anxiety, I think I would stop enjoying sex."
Another commented: "Rubbish!!!!! My husband and i have scheduled sex for 20yrs. It just gets better and we both make plans to surprise and excite each other. I am 62 and hubby is 59. Its awesome."
One more added: "Spontaneous sex is much more exciting "
