This Morning BLUNDER as guest reveals behind-the-scenes secret

This Morning viewers were in hysterics after a blunder where a little girl accidentally revealed a "surprise" was actually fake

One of This Morning's viewers favourite elements of the show is when they get to talk to real people, and this week has seen the show taking the time to honour young carers this week.

But today's episode left viewers in hysterics after the team sent Rochelle Humes to see one particular little girl at her primary school as a surprise.

When in fact, it wasn't a surprise at all - as eight-year-old Dania revealed to the cameras that she'd known about it all along.

As soon as Rochelle entered the room, Dania exclaimed: "Oh! I forgot about this!", as poor Rochelle tried to get a hold of the situation and steer it back on track.

But the flustered presenter was unable to stop the nervous little girl from revealing that she'd already been told about the "surprise", as Dania said: "I forgot about it, I didn't know it was going to be today!"

Rochelle immediately said: "No, you didn't know!" before trying to encourage her to talk about what she does for her mum Isabel, who has cancer.

Poor Dania was clearly terrified, telling Rochelle she was "scared" before Isabel, who battled cancer whilst pregnant with Dania, jumped in to save the situation and started to explain what a good girl Dania was in helping her when she was feeling ill.

Fans took to Twitter to praise little Dania for what she does for her mum, but many couldn't help but point out the slightly hilarious situation.

But an ITV spokesperson insisted that Dania hadn't known about Rochelle's visit prior to her coming, saying that she had got it confused with another interview she was meant to be doing.

They said: "Rochelle's visit to eight-year-old Dania was a genuine surprise, she knew absolutely nothing about it in advance.

"Dania was due to be doing some media interviews for the charity and thought Rochelle's surprise was connected to that. Both Dania and her mum Isabel thoroughly enjoyed their morning."

Rochelle told Dania: "A little birdy tells me that you’re a massive Pokemon fan and Nintendo fan," before gifting her with a whole bunch of goodies for being such a good carer.

She then went off on a pony ride as part of her gifts.
