The pair are paying tribute to late family member's with the name of their baby boy

Reality star Spencer Matthews and model Vogue Williams are due welcome their first child together (a baby boy) later this year - and the pair have just revealed that they both plan on naming the baby after their late family members.

Spencer's brother tragically died in 1999 while climbing Mount Everest, and Vogue's dad passed over after a stroke in 2010.

Spencer revealed on ITV's Loose Women: "We've known it was a boy for so long now that obviously we have thought of names and we do have a few favourites.

"I just don't know how much she'd be happy with me revealing. I don't think it has to be a secret that my brother passed away and so did her father, and we'd like to incorporate their names into our child's name somehow, and we have a few frontrunners, but we're not 100 per cent."

Spencer lost his brother in 1999, while he was trying to climb Mount Everest - although the exact circumstances of his death have never been revealed.

He speaks about the tragedy in his 2013 book, Confessions of a Chelsea Boy: "His loss was devastating for the family and over time this became worse because the circumstances surrounding Michael's death have never been fully explained."

"We have not been able to say goodbye in person. We have nowhere to go to sit with him. He lives on with us in our minds only. I guess our family’s way of dealing with losing Mike is to believe that he goes on with us."

We think it's so sweet that the couple will be paying tribute to their lost family members! Do you have a similar story? We'd love to hear from you over on Facebook and Twitter!
