The excitement for this year's Strictly Come Dancing has been building for months.
But despite a fantastic line-up of celebs, including Mollie King, Gemma Atkinson and Ruth Langford, presenter Tess Daly was still overcome with emotion while fronting the show.
Standing alongside co-presenter and pal Claudia Winkleman, Vernon Kay's wife cried as she remembered her former co-star Bruce Forsythe, who passed away earlier this year.
A montage of the star's life played on screen and Tess was in tears as she said one of his famous phrases as it finished, "Didn't he do well?"
Introducing the clip, Tess said, "One person is in our hearts and our thoughts and that is Brucie."
Claudia added, "He was so warm, so loving, the kindest man in the whole world."
Sir Bruce lost his life in August aged 89, after a fantastic career that saw him present Strictly for ten years.
Judge Bruno Tonioli also paid tribute to Sir Bruce, saying he "always had time for everyone" and will "never be forgotten".
"That first show, I was sitting in my little dressing room and there was a knock at the door," Len Goodman, who is a previous head judge, added.
"And he said: 'Len, I just wanted to say, I hope you have a lovely show'.
"And there I am, little old Len, the dance teacher from Dartford, sitting and chatting with Bruce Forsyth."
