Tom, 35, who was snapped wearing a 'I Heart TS' vest, frolicked in the waves with Taylor and her A-List squad, including Cara Delevigne, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, beneath the singer's £13million beachside home in Rhode Island.
And while Tom and Taylor, 26, appeared to be more smitten than ever - the series of cheesy images sparked an explosion of conspiracy theories online to explain what was going on.
One rumour claimed the whole romance was a spoof being filmed for Taylor’s next music video, while other claims the romance has been faked to help Tom win an Emmy for his performance in the hit series The Night Manager.
