While they're apparently toasting the momentous occasion in Fiji with their children, we've decided to celebrate in our very own special way; with a look back over their relationship over the last decade. Brad first met Angelina on the set of espionage rom-com Mr & Mrs Smith and, despite already being married to Jennifer Aniston (sob), he found himself becoming more and more enamoured with his on-screen wife. Angelina said later: "It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realise that it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe. "And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration." The actress said she and Pitt remained "very, very good friends" after shooting the film and were resigned to staying nothing more than pals… until Brad and Jen announced their breakup in early 2005.

They kept their distance from one another at the premiere of the film a year later, but Angelina later confirmed that she and Brad were, spiritually, far closer than they first appeared: "We spent a lot of time contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realised that we wanted very, very similar things. "And then we just continued to take time. We remained very, very good friends — with this realisation - for a long time. "And then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do."
