The American global superstar – who is currently staying on the Gold Coast with boyfriend Tom Hiddleston – spent a long afternoon taking selfies, chatting to patients and staff at Brisbane's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.

The hospital expressed their thanks to Taylor on their official Facebook page:
"Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital to give our patients and families a special surprise they'll never forget.
"They'll never 'shake off' the memories you made."
One brave fan who is battling bone cancer was particularly astonished when Taylor popped in to visit.
Belle Harry, 13, told the Today show about the moment she first clocked eyes on Taylor.
"It was a surprise, when she walked through the hospital door I started crying because I was really happy," Bella said.
“We talked about what she was up to on the Gold Coast. She said she was up to bits and pieces but she was very excited to do the visit in hospital.
“Earlier that morning I was filming a video to invite her to the hospital and someone had already organised it. So she just walked in and she was there.”
Slater Walker, a toddler who has been in hospital for the past three months after surgery for a brain tumour, also spent some time with the Shake It Off singer.
His mum, Bianca, told ABC News:
"She thought my little boy was just amazing ... very bright and beautiful and he had a lovely smile.
"She laughed with him and high-fived him. It was really lovely. I told her a bit about his condition ... she was so friendly and open and down to earth."
Taylor caused a HUGE commotion when she arrived in Oz with Tom, who is currently filming blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok – with paps following the couple everywhere.
