Love Island's Tasha Ghouri has spoken out about the ‘new chapter’ in her life, after splitting from Andrew Le Page. The couple, who got together on the 2022 series of the ITV2 show, announced that they had broken up in January after nearly three years together.
Speaking exclusively to Closer at the British Diversity Awards in London, Tasha told us, ‘Life has been amazing. It’s a new chapter now. It’s a new beginning and it’s all about embracing that and that’s what life is about.’
She added, ‘I’m just focusing on myself. Onwards and upwards now.’

Before their split, Tasha, 26, and Andrew, 29, lived together in London and even adopted a cockapoo dog named Luna in 2023. They are continuing to co-parent their pup, despite Andrew moving back to his parents’ home in Guernsey.
‘Luna’s very good. She’s very well. Love her very much,’ she said to Closer.
She previously explained that they are sharing custody of the rescue dog. ‘Since there’s so many horrible messages I’ve got about taking Luna off Andrew – first off, she is our dog who we got together. He is in Guernsey and decided to leave Luna here with me as he couldn’t take her, it wasn’t ideal. When he’s found a place back in the UK, we will be working out a way for both of us to see her.’

Tasha - who was runner-up on the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing - broke her silence over their break-up earlier this week, as her account on the Raya dating app was revealed. ‘I ended the relationship, there was many things behind closed doors,’ she said. But she revealed that there are no bad feelings between them. ‘Always will still care for him! We’re on good terms and don’t hate each other. Break-ups happen in life, just because ours is in the public eye doesn’t make it any different.’
Meanwhile, Tasha revealed that she’s excited about the release of her book Your Superpower on 24 April.
‘It’s a really powerful book about how to find self-confidence and love with disability so I’m really excited. It’s about championing how to find your self-love and your self-confidence about your disability and who you are as a person,’ she said.
