The Real Housewives of Cheshirestar Tanya Bardsley took to her Instagram to share a troubling video of her beloved English Bulldog Buzz apparently being dognapped.

Posting what appears to be CCTV footage from the front of her house, Buzz, who is just six months old, can be seen looking disoriented in the road.

While one car stops and carefully drives around the pup, a white van pulls up beside him and, after a brief struggle, puts Buzz in the driver's compartment with him and drives off.

Fans on both Tanya and Buzz’s own Instagram account were left distressed by the footage.

“Omg this has made me sob my heart out!! Please God let’s get you found,” wrote one invested commenter, while another said, “Oh no!!! I hope you get him back soon... As a Bulldog mum myself this would break my heart.”

“He was on the road I would have stopped and put in my car and took him to nearest vets,” said a third. “I don’t think he was intentionally pinched just someone making sure he didn’t get hurt glad he’s home safe x”.

Tanya later uploaded an Instagram story showing a search party headed out looking for him saying they “think they know” where he was – and went on to post a video of Buzz returned safe and sound to the family home.

“We got our baby @bulldogbuzzbardo back thank you so so much everyone for posting we really appreciate it 🙏❤️ a special thank you to @aplus.ptmcr and @taurussecuritygroup we are beyond grateful,” she said.

It’s still unclear under what circumstances Buzz was taken, but let's hope the white van man was a good Samaritan. And that Buzz doesn't go wandering in the road again.
