She confesses it has been a 'tough year' since she split with Miranda star Tom Ellis, but she is looking forward to the future.

In her first interview since the divorce, she said: "When things like this happen to you, your resolve and strength of character comes through.
I would have done anything to keep my family together but it wasn't to be. I do feel pretty strong."

We all know how important it is to have someone to talk to and support you through matters like this, and Tamzin confessed that her friends helped her through the split.
"Some people didn't mind sitting there listening to me talk and still do. It makes you realise who your friends are, which friends you would go into battle with and which ones you don't mind just going shopping with.
"I feel very lucky to have the love I have in my life - and losing one person doesn't change that."
We love Tamzins positives attitude, as she also added: "We are rebuilding quite well. I don't feel unlovable or damaged".

Her now ex husband Tom Ellis, 35 reportedly admitted to having a one night stand in the US early last year whilst filming.
Tamzin, who played Melanie Owen in Eastenders from 1998-2002 filed for divorce after attempts to patch up the marriage failed, and Tom left their North London home.
In April the actress was granted a divorce in just one minute and 50 seconds.

The High Court office confirmed that Tamzin had applied to divorce Tom on the grounds of his adultery.
The couple have two children together, Florence, five and Marnie Mae, 20 months and have vowed to stay on friendly terms for their sake.
