The 16-year-old is said to have told Joshante Amihyia their relationship was over last week, after her fame became an issue between them, only for them to attempt to make it work.
But Joshante changed his Facebook relationship status to single and the pair haven’t spoken since the weekend.
A source on The X Factor revealed: “Their relationship is volatile and they don’t seem to be able to make it work at the moment. For Tamera her priority is The X Factor and that has been tough for Joshante to cope with.
“She is getting lots of attention from other admirers, including some guys within X Factor who fancy her.”
Tamera is currently one of the favourites to win the show, and last year’s winner James Arthur thinks she will too.
He said: “She’s got the whole package and I think the show will be championing her for it.
“She’s very marketable. But I think Hannah’s voice is the strongest. Tamera will do well anyway.”
Speaking about his own experience and advice for the current contestants, James said: “I was kind of lucky last year because I was in with a great bunch so nobody was really stealing the limelight.
“I think the key is being consistent. I went out there every week and was really honest with my performance. No-one could criticise the effort I put in.”
And James thinks being a favourite on the show isn’t always a good thing.
“I think it can work against you, but I think Tamera will win.
