In an interview with a UK magazine, the model confirmed that she and new husband Jay Rutland are expecting and that she is 14 weeks pregnant.
The couple, who married four months ago in France, met just nine months ago. Speaking about their whirlwind romance, Tamara, 29, said: “I just feel so lucky. I never imagined this all happening so quickly.
It’s crazy how life works in such mysterious ways. Jay loves children and I’m really excited for the next phase of our relationship.”
The happy news comes after Tamara’s painful break up with ex fiancé Omar Khyami. The pair were together for two and half years but broke up after Omar was caught on a sex tape.

Jay, 32, said of the pregnancy: “It’s been an amazing year, meeting and marrying my beautiful wife. Now we are expecting our first child and looking forward to the next step in our future together.”
And, despite being Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone’s daughter, Tamara says she will raise her child to have values. “I think you can spoil a child with love and attention rather than showering them with material things.
“My parents instilled strong values in my sister and I, and I want to do all the things my mother did: she always put us first and encouraged us to follow our dreams. I want to be there for my child.”
And Tamara says her parents were delighted by the news of the pregnancy. “My mum was thrilled as was my dad, he loves babies.”
