Socialite Tamara Ecclestone came under fire after she shared a breastfeeding selfie whilst in Barbados in June.

And the 31-year-old has remained defiant that being a mum is her number 1 priority.

Speaking to new! magazine, Tamara revealed that she loves her routine of nights in and feeding 21-month-old Sophia, and she doesn’t miss going out.

"I'm still feeding her so if she needs to be fed I need to be there. My mum was like that until we were old enough to understand, and even then she'd only leave us with family. I guess it's just the way I am,” she explained.

"I don't feel comfortable leaving Sophia with anyone in the evenings, and Jay understands how hands-on I am.

"So long as we do get our time together, he doesn't mind if we're in the house with a takeaway. It's still just us. If she wakes in the night I want to be there for her," she added.

And the mother-of-one wants to keep it that way for a few years, until little Sophia is old enough to remember the birth of her sibling.

"I want to enjoy Sophia fully," she explained.

"I can remember her [Petra] being born," she said of her sister who is four years her junior.

"So I'd like to wait a bit longer. I'm happy with the three of us for now."
