It has been revealed that Good Morning Britain TV presenter Susanna Reid has been secretly dating Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish. The pair have been dating for two months, after they bonded over their love for Crystal Palace. Awww.
This is the first relationship that Susanna has had after the end of her 16-year relationship with Dominic Cotton, with whom she has three teenaged sons.
During a recent conversation on Good Morning Britain between her and her co-star Piers Morgan, Susanna hinted she was dating again. Piers told her that she should apply for Love Island as she is "popular and single", to which Susanna hit back with: “How do you know I’m single?”
Susanna's new beau Steve is estimated to be worth around £45million, and has two daughters of his own from a previous marriage.
A friend told The Sun: “Susanna and Steve are exclusively dating. It’s extremely early days but they’re having a lot of fun.
“They have known each other for several years through their connections to Palace. Over the summer they started hanging out more and fell for each other."
The source added "They have a real chemistry, a wicked sense of humour and both are real family people. Plus, of course, they share a love of the Eagles." Oooooh.
The pair have apparently enjoyed string of dates together, including dinners, cinema trips and a romantic mini-break. So it would seem as if things are hotting up.
Speaking to You Magazine recently, Susanna revealed: “I’m definitely open to dating again.
"This is the right time of my life to explore that now. I’ve spent a significant amount of time since the split focused on the children and on work. That’s been absolutely the right thing to do for the past couple of years.
“My children are all teenagers now – they’re much more independent. They do things after school, they’ve got loads of friends, so I think they encouraged me to think about developing that side of my life a little bit more. You want your children to be happy with what you’re doing."
