On top of this, women reportedly feel less worried about their partner seeing them without make up, matching underwear or not in smart clothes.

The findings were collected by a UK fashion website, which asked 1,186 British women aged 18 and over about their behaviour when entering a new relationship.

Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has previously admitted to farting in front of her boyfriend of 10 years, Justin Scott, saying:

"Yes, I do! I'm sure most girls do but are afraid to admit it."

When it came to their own behaviour, the survey showed that men feel comfortable around their partners in only three weeks.

Bobbie Malpass, editor of the fashion site, said:

“We thought it would be fun to discover a bit more about women's behaviour while in a relationship, especially when it comes to reaching the 'point of non-return' when women finally get 100 per cent comfortable around their partner.”
