Former Sugababes singer Heidi Range has announced her first pregnancy with husband Alex Partakis and opened up about her fertility struggles
A HUGE congratulations is in order for Heidi Range and her husband who are expecting their first baby!
Heidi, 34, has been married to property developer Alex Partakis for just under a year after their wedding last September, and revealed that her pregnancy is a blessing.
The former Sugababes singer, who was previously engaged to radio DJ Dave Berry, opened up to Hello! Magazine.
She revealed that she is due in January, but that she had begun to doubt it would ever happen for her.
Heidi said: "It has been a big year for us. Our wedding was amazing and then I had hoped I would fall pregnant straight away.
"But as each month went by, I would take a test and I got used to it always being negative. So when it came back positive it was a shock."

Thankfully, Heidi fell pregnant just a few months after her wedding to Alex, 37.
She revealed that she thinks the couple have worked out when their baby was conceived: "We moved into our house at Easter after spending two years renovating it and we think that was the same weekend we conceived.
"It was like it was meant to be. It was so special that it happened in our first family house together. It's made our home have this lovely feeling about it."
Whilst the couple don't yet know the sex of their baby, they are planning a gender reveal party.
