**Coronation Street, 7.30pm, ITV
Forget the gentle flirting, it’s been bleedin’ obvious for yonks that Marcus and Todd fancy the pants off each other. All those cosy little chats and heart to hearts. How unfortunate that Marcus is shacked up with domestic angel Maria (although we’re guessing, not for much longer following tonight’s behaviour). When Marcus hears from Sean that Todd is in love with someone else the floodgates open and, engineering an opportunity to be alone, boom, the two men are soon leaning in for a kiss….and more. Alas: something tells us Maria is in for another dose of heartbreak. As for you Todd, in the words of Olly Murs: you ain’t nothing but a troublemaker! **
**NEW SERIES Edge Of Heaven, 9pm, ITV
**Set in an Eighties-themed B&B in Margate, this brand new comedy stars The Inbetweeners’ Blake Harrison as a young chap who’s about to get married to his sweetheart Carly. Except on his stag do/hen night, he catches her snogging another bloke, with worse to follow. His family and friends (including Louisa Lytton) rally around.
**Room 101, 7.25pm, BBC1
It’s the turn of Sara Cox, Aled Jones and comic Josh Widdicombe to air their grievances in Room 101. But which star has an issue with Christmas round-robin letters (hear hear!) and who finds girls who put false eyelashes on in the car (eh?) bothersome? Slogan T-shirts and the herb dill (random) also get a general slating, and Frank Skinner oversees proceedings. **

**NEW SERIES **Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, 7pm, ITV
Almost exactly a year to the day when series 10 took to the air, the boys are back with a fabulous new run of Saturday Night Takeaway and we couldn’t be more excited. In tonight’s show, the Geordie duo are “taken to the edge in a terrifying challenge” for Ant vs Dec (we wish ITV would tell us more but for now their lips are sealed, meanies) plus hubby and wife team Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford say ‘I’m A Celeb! Get Out Of Me Ear!’ We've also got Michael Bublé stepping in as live guest announcer, plus, Mini Mes, Little Ant and Dec are back (yay!), as is the lovely Ashley Roberts.
The Voice UK, 7pm, BBC1
The lovely Emma Willis and Marvin Humes host the final week of Blind Auditions so make the most of those spinning chairs as they’re about to be put back into storage. And with spaces on the coaches’ teams now seriously limited, the battle is on to win over Kylie, will.i.am, Ricky and Sir Tom with some spectacular singing.
Take Me Out, 8.20pm, ITV
It's the series finale – boo – so the pressure is on cupid Paddy McGuinness to arrange dates for 30 single girls. Descending the love lift tonight are Michael Rae, the current Mr Wales from Carmarthen; Jason, a musical theatre-loving cleaner from Bristol; David, a landscape gardener/semi-pro wrestler from Glasgow and Vincent, a champagne importer from London.
**NEW SERIES **True Detective, 9pm, Sky Atlantic
Hollywood stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson hit the small screen in this absolutely fantastic new drama as two state policemen Marty Hart (Harrelson) and Rust Cohle (McConaughey) who are on the trail of a deranged serial killer who struck in 1995. The two don’t exactly get on, so expect the investigation to be a bit fraught!

**NEW SERIES **The Only Way Is Essex, 10pm, ITV2
It only seems like five minutes since we bid a fond farewell to the Brentwood babes but they’re back for a new ten part series with more glitz and glamour than you can shake a finely manicured nail at. All eyes will no doubt be on Gemma Collins following her brief engagement to on/off lover Rami that ended in a bitter feud. But what have the rest of the gang been up to? Dan’s been showing off his diving skills (and his hot bod) in Splash! and Billie Faiers is pregnant, bless her. But one thing’s for sure – we’ll miss Joey Essex as he’s taking a break from TOWIE to focus on his new reality show. Still, there’s always Arg.
Call The Midwife, 8pm, BBC1
The nurses are up to their arms in it due to an unusually high number of babies ready to be born in Popular, meanwhile Fred is doing up an old bus with the local curate Tom, who’s rather smitten with Trixie. So he asks the foxy nurse out for a hot date – to a cricket match with a bunch of boy scouts! No wonder she’s busy dreaming about Rock Hudson.
Mr Selfridge, 9pm, ITV
Wartime paranoia is rife and the staff suspect dishy Henri of being a German spy. Zut alors! Elsewhere, Lady Mae’s not happy as Lord Loxley is demanding his conjugal rights (eww!) but she hooks up with an old flame, singer Richard Chapman (Alfie Boe) and asks him to sing at Selfridge’s patriotic concert. And Harry? He’s called away on a secret government mission.
The Musketeers. 9pm, BBC1
Porthos wakes up after a few too many sherries lying next to a dead body, so it’s no surprise when he’s arrested and sentenced to death immediately. Just as he’s making his way to the gallows, he’s kidnapped by members of his old gang mates (including guest star Ashley Walters) from the ghetto he grew up in. It’s down to his Musketeers to not only find him but prove his innocence.
