Strictly Come Dancing 2016 has finally begun!

The show started last Saturday (3 September) which saw the 15 Strictly dancers paired up with their partners.

And one of this years contestants Anastacia has revealed that although she struggles with her post-surgery scars as a result of battling cancer, she hopes the BBC show will help her overcome her fears.

The American singer first suffered from breast cancer in 2003, but after it returned in 2013 she had a double mastectomy .

Anastacia has called her boobs 'bionic boobs' because they're fabulous and has recently opened about her double mastectomy, revealing: "My operation was a radical one, muscles from my back were put in my front.

"I have big scars on my back that I don't know if I'm going to have the guts enough to show or if I'm going to cover them up, we will see where my power comes from.

"I'm not saying I may not have a moment where I'm going to do it, I don't know what the show will bring out."

The 47-year-old who is now free of cancer has announced that she will be donating her Strictly pay check to charity, which is motivating her to stay in the show until the end.

Good luck Anastacia!
