People are claiming that participating in Strictly Come Dancing last year has caused Louise Redknapp to split from her husband of 19 years Jamie Redknapp

The celeb world has been shaken this week by the news that Louise and Jamie Redknapp have after 19 years of marriage.

The break-up first came to light on Wednesday, with sources telling The Sun that Louise had told close friends that the marriage was over before she went away to Mallorca on holiday with her two sons.

They said: "Louise told one of her closest friends she and Jamie had split.

"She mentioned how much time they had spent apart and that when she and Jamie had tried to spend time together, it hadn't been good."

And yesterday, it was revealed that Jamie has been announcing the split since last week, "quite openly" telling people at a music festival that their marriage was over.

But now it is being claimed that the reason behind the split is because Louise was a contestant on last year's Strictly Come Dancing.

According to The Sun, Louise has got her "mojo" back and doesn't feel "fulfilled" being "just a wife and mother" - and that Jamie "doesn't understand".

They added that the mum-of-two had "completely changed" since being on the BBC One show last year, where she was a runner-up to Ore Oduba.

The source said: "She had spent over a decade successfully raising their children and being a doting wife. But in the end it didn't fulfill her."

They also cited her friendship with fellow Strictly 2016 celeb Daisy Lowe as a possible cause for the rift, saying: "Louise ended up spending a lot more time away from home with Daisy and rediscovering her youth."

As Louise takes to the West End to perform in Cabaret, her new lease of life is seeing her take up her career once again - which is no bad thing at ALL and should be encouraged.

We just hope they can work it out - we love these two!
