Strictly Come Dancing has been on our screens for 14 years now, and we’ve seen some very famous faces strapping up their ballroom shoes to dance it out in one of the most thrilling competitions on TV.
And with the latest series set to return later this year, talks about who may be joining the judges have begun doing the rounds.
But this rumour about the latest contestant will seriously shock you.
According to newspaper reports, model and actress, Daisy Lowe, is the latest celebrity to sign up for the dance show, and will be trying to impress the panel of experts with rumbas, cha-chas and jives.
Daisy has reportedly already started training for the TV show, using it as a distraction from her split Darius Campbell, the ex-Pop Idol star who famously sang a risqué version of Hit Me Baby One More Time, by Britney Spears.
It is hoped that bringing in someone like Daisy will pull in a younger audience for Strictly Come Dancing.
“Daisy is a great signing – she’s one of the girls of the moment,” the source told The Daily Star.
“She’s part of that trendy young Primrose Hill set and is quite edgy compared to a lot of those who normally sign up,”
Although the official line-up won’t be announced until August, there have been several rumours about the celebrities willing to perfect their Paso Doble, including Laura Whitmore, singer Anastacia, Louise Redknapp and ITVs Judge Rinder.
