Strictly Come Dancing has its own controversies every year and no one can say it doesn’t come without drama.

Now, Strictly judge Darcey Bussell has opened up about which celebrity she thinks is going to steal the winning title and hold the coveted Glitterball Trophy in their hands.

Darcey, 47, is a prima ballerina and will discuss who she believes the winner will be on an episode of The Jonathan Ross show, to be aired on Saturday 8th October.

The mum-of-two said: “I think Judge Rinder is definitely going [far].He’s obviously a perfectionist because he gets really intense but he’s very funny as well with it, he’s an entertainer as you can see.

“He has got very good facial expressions. It’s quite good because it distracts you from the technique so maybe he’s using it as a skill … he is absolutely gorgeous!” she continued.

Judge Rinder has been sending fans into a frenzy with his amazing moves, and a Cha Cha routine that saw him dressed as a Judge with dance partner, Oksana Platero, has racked up almost half a million views on YouTube.

Pressed about whether she thought Judge Rinder, real name Robert, will make it through to the final, Darcey said: “I really hope so … I think it’s time for a boy [to win]. There is a lot of good talent there … You never know.”

Strictly fans have already witnessed a lot of drama on this year’s show after tales of fractured friendships between contestant Laura Whitmore and friend Georgia May Foote began swirling when Laura was partnered with Georgia’s ex-boyfriend, Giovanni Pernice.

And last weekend saw Melvin Odoom leave the show, much to fans disappointment, when Anastacia’s health scare meant she couldn’t perform in the dance-off as planned.

We’re sure there will be much more to look forward to this weekend!

The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday at 10.30pm on ITV
