The Strictly Come Dancing curse has struck again as it’s emerged professional dancer Gorka Marquez and his fiancee Lauren Sheridan have split.
They are said to have ended their relationship the same night Gorka was beaten up by a gang of youths in Blackpool after appearing on the BBC show last month.
Lauren and Gorka were seen together in the seaside town but this is the last time they were spotted in public, according to The Sun.
A source said: “Gorka and Lauren aren’t together anymore. They were very loved-up but it has come to an end quite fast.”
They added: “It’s a real shame, and of course they’re both very upset by what has gone on.”
Lauren has apparently unfollowed Gorka on all her social media accounts.
She recently posted a message which read: “Girls always find things out, they might not say anything right away, but they know.”
Gorka wrote: “In case you ever foolishly forget - I am never not thinking about you.”
However, Lauren did not what to comment on any rumours herself, telling the newspaper: “Neither me nor Gorka have confirmed or denied anything. I don’t want to comment.”
