Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice split from his Coronation Street girlfriend, Georgia May Foote, seven months ago, but it looks as though he may have moved on with her former Corrie co-star, Katie McGlynn.
Katie plays Sinead Tinker in the ITV soap.
According to The Sunday Mirror, a source said: "They went for dinner and the cinema, and had a night partying with some of his pals in London. There was a lot of chemistry between them.
"They really like each other and there’s huge attraction there, but it’s early days."
But despite taking things slow, it's been reported that things are a little awkward, given Giovanni's history with Georgia. The source also added: "Both are also conscious that Giovanni dated Georgia making things a little awkward too."
This isn't the first time Katie and Georgia have shared a love interest. Both of their Corrie characters dated Chesney Brown. Georgia May Foote’s character Katy split with him before he moved on with Sinead.
On the soap, Sinead is currently dating Daniel Osbourne after cheating on Chesney with him.
Georgia and Giovanni previously got together after the Corrie star took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, but called time on their relationship nine months later.
Georgia broke the news on Twitter, saying: "It is with great sadness we have decided to split up.
"There is nobody else involved. Although it was not an easy decision to make, sometimes you realise that it is better to be friends, and this is one of those times.
"We both have very busy work schedules for the rest of the year so we are both going to focus on our upcoming work projects, and we wish each other well for the future."
