Strictly Come Dancing's vetaren head judge, Len Goodman, announced that this year’s series of the BBC One show will be his last – leaving his seat vacant for next year.
Sob!
Rumours of who will replace him as top of the table have already started; so far, professional dancers Anton du Beke and Brendan Cole are reportedly battling it out - with Sir Bruce Forsyth and Len favouring smiley Anton over anyone else.
However, world-renowned choreographer and former judge Arlene Phillips has come forward to reclaim her place on the judging panel.

Asked who should replace Len, she told The Telegraph at at the 10th anniversary of Cirque Du Soleil's The Beatles Love show in Las Vegas: "Me, of course. Who else?
"The BBC will do what they want. Anton [Du Beke] has been suggested. He'd be a lot of fun.
"It's not as easy judging. It's not just about knowledge of ballroom and latin. There's so much involved, with the professionals, with the celebrities, with the entertainment. I think you have to be able to deliver both really well."
Arlene also stated that she wasn’t too surprised that Len has stepped down, stating that he appeared "tired" and "irritated" on the show.
Well, she’s got the experience – she was a member of the original judging panel from 2004 to 2009.
It would be GREAT to have two ladies on the panel, right?
