Strictly Come Dancing 2016 in BIG trouble as five dancers quit

The hit show could be thrown into turmoil as it’s lost FIVE of its most popular professional dancers – with BBC bosses having to find some new faces pretty quick.

Ola Jordan, Kristina Rihanoff, Aliona Vilani, Gleb Savchenko (sob!) and Tristan MacManus will not be appearing in the line-up later this year.

Despite five dancers quitting the show, the BBC have so far only announced the arrival of three new dancers.

Strictly’s Executive Producer Louise Rainbow said: "We are delighted with our professional dancer line-up this year and we welcome three new stunning dancers to our Strictly family."

The sparkly new Strictly professionals include two women and a male - and they are all world champs in their own right.

Russian-born world champion Katya Jones, Ukrainian champ Oksana Platero and Spanish professional Gorka Marquez said they felt "privileged", "excited" and "fortunate" to be taking part and will join the line-up this Autumn.

But what about the other two spaces left to be filled?

According to the BBC, more professional dancers "will be announced in due course".

We’re just going to have to wait and see.
