The 35-year-old and her boyfriend of one and a half years Jack Street, 26, are said to have called time on their relationship.
Former Xtra Factor presenter Caroline was allegedly distraught backstage at the BBC One competition at the weekend, but managed to hold it together to perform.
Many Strictly stars have seen their relationships break down during or shortly after their time on the show, thanks to the famous ‘Strictly love curse’.
However a source said of Caroline and Jack’s break-up: “No one else is involved.’
Speaking before of how Jack felt about her being on the show, Caroline said: “[He’s] been completely fine about the whole curse thing.
“If anything, doing the show has made our relationship better than ever before because I’m happier. It’s made me a happier person.
“It’s something so different to what I’m used to that he says it’s brought out a nicer side of me – not that I was bad before. But whatever Strictly does to other couples, for whatever reason, it’s done the opposite to us.”
Caroline and Jack were living together, and she previously admitted she told him she loved him on their second date.
