Stevie Wonder and girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy have welcomed a beautiful baby girl to their family - and they've stuck to their original baby name choice.
Wonder, 64, who is a proud father to eight other kids from previous relationships, confirmed he was expecting another child during an appearance on The View last month.
After it was reported that the musician and his girlfriend were expecting triplets, Wonder joked, "I got, how many, 22 kids?"
He then added: "It's not true.
"The truth is we're going to have a wonderful daughter, born in December, [and her] name is going to be Nia, which is 'purpose.'"
The singer's spokesman - who confirmed the news to US Weekly - added that 'purpose' is also one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, referring to the African American annual festival.
This is Stevie's second child with girlfriend Tomeeka.
The chart topper has seven other children from previous relationships - and they range from the age of newborn to 39-years-old.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
