Relocating for a new job can be difficult, but there’s nothing like a £17 million mansion to sweeten the deal.

Steven Gerrard, 34, recently signed to club LA Galaxy, and they’ve offered him a luxury Malibu mansion for the duration of his contract.

The former Liverpool midfielder and his wife Alex Curran, 32, are taking their three daughters Lily-Ella, 11, Lexie, eight and three-year-old Lourdes across the pond in June.

Just a stone's throw from Santa Monica, Steven and Alex’s new home boasts an impressive six bedrooms and nine bathrooms and everything a footballer and his WAG could possibly need.

They’ll enjoy gorgeous ocean views, private orchards, gym and spa equipment and a huge outdoor pool.

Speaking about their move recently, Alex insisted she loves the American lifestyle.

Steven and Alex have reportedly been offered a luxury Malibu mansion – that'll make the move a bit easier!

She told the Mirror: “I love it here. It’s so warm, sunny and beautiful. I can’t wait to move here.

“[Steven] has an 18-month deal, but I hope he gets extended because it’s great here.

“I’d love to stay her longer. It’s so different to Liverpool, but I think we’ll be really happy.”

We wouldn’t blame Steven and Alex for ditching the UK full-time in favour of Malibu!
