Yes, you read that right: 90s-tastic guilty pleasure STEPS are back with a 20th anniversary album and tour!

The sun is (finally) shining, the first bank holiday of the year is almost upon us (OK, there's still a month to go, but still), and STEPS have announced that they're back with a new album and tour. Could today get any better?!

STEPS broke the exciting news in a post on their official website, explaining: "We’re SO excited to finally share our big news with you all… 2017 is #20YearsOfSteps, and we’re BACK with a BANG, a brand new album and brand new arena tour!"

Unlike some pop reunions, all five members of STEPS - Claire Richars, Lee Latchford-Evans, Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian “H” Watkins and Faye Tozer - are on board for the reunion.

And it's looking like their new album - Tears on the Dancefloor - is going to be pretty epic, as the band worked with ABBA legends Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus!

Talking about working with the ABBA legends, Lisa gushed: “We’ve always had that comparison with Abba so it’s amazing to work with Benny and Bjorn.

“When we heard the special album track they gave to us we said, ‘that’s perfect’."

So, when is this all kicking off?

Well, according to their website, their new single - Scared of The Dark - will premiere on BBC Radion 2 on Thursay March 9, and go on sale the following day.

Then, the new album - Tears on the Dancefloor - will go on sale on April 21.

And finally, their Party On The Dancefloor Tour will kick off in Dublin in early November!

Oh... and we nearly forgot: the support act on their tour are THE VENGABOYS! Really, you couldn't make this up!
