It has been confirmed that Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis, who previously revealed she suffered from hair loss earlier this year due to stress, is currently in hospital suffering from a mystery illness.
The 23-year-old, who shocked everyone when she revealed that she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, recently opened up and explained why her hair began to fall out: "When I was 'blonde Steph' my hair snapped a lot and it also started to fall out with all the stress I was under.
"I also came up in blotches on my skin. If I touched it, it would just come out in my hands and I was told it was all the pressure I was under.
"I had a cry about it quite often because I didn't feel like myself. It makes you feel womanly in a sense," she wrote on her blog for OK! magazine.
In July she revealed that she's further along in her pregnancy than she originally thought: "Just amazing! Hypo baby flipping over and over! Further on than I thought too. So happy I love you baby xxxx aghh mummy"
And after fans noticed that the former Celebrity Big Brother star had been absent from social media since November 1 they began to speculate whether Steph had given birth.
However, after her rep denied that the actress had given birth they revealed: "Stephanie has been in hospital since Wednesday 2nd November due to an illness and is currently undergoing further tests.
"We would like to confirm that Stephanie has not given birth and her unborn baby boy is doing well," they told OK! Online.

Steph, who is due to give birth in January, has revealed that she doesn't think Jeremy should be there for his child: "He doesn't deserve to be there. I don't think he wants to be there either.
"I don't think I could ever forgive him for how he's been. I used to send him scan photos but he doesn't care and he never has. It's just me and my son now."
She also confessed: "It's heartbreaking because I feel like I've let my baby down because I couldn't give him both parents."
