Stephanie Davis gave birth to her beautiful little boy just over two weeks ago, and yesterday it was revealed that she had chosen a very unusual – but very cute! – name for her newborn, Caben-Albi George.
She decided to honour her late grandad with his middle name, Albi, but was inspired when she heard the name Caben whilst on holiday and just knew that’s what she wanted to call her little one.
Now, Steph has opened up about how much of an impact her little bundle of joy has had on her life.
Talking to OK magazine about putting 2016 behind her, the actress said: “Falling pregnant saved my life.
“I was in such a dark place after me and Jeremy split, I was on a downward spiral.
“I was suicidal … but Caben gave me something to live for.”
Steph and Jeremy’s turbulent relationship played out very publically, and shortly after the couple decided to split for good she announced that she was pregnant with their child.
However, Jeremy has repeatedly denied being the father of the child and reportedly flew back from a lads’ holiday in Thailand when Steph gave birth in order to take a paternity test.
Although neither party has confirmed whether or not the test has been taken, Steph has said she is 100% sure that Caben is Jeremy’s son.
But despite her relationship troubles, Steph has managed to put it all behind her to focus on her beautiful little boy.
In an Instagram post, Steph said: “I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and been on this journey with me … he has made my life complete. I couldn't imagine life before him or without him. How we got through last year together just me and him … He's the most amazing thing ever!!!!!! I'm so lucky to get to love him.”
We’re so glad you’re happy, Steph!
