Stephanie Davis has finally opened up about the bruises on her leg
It was only recent that Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell were playing happy families but the former Hollyoaks actress has now admitted she's "emotionally drained" after Jeremy allegedly assaulted her.
After it was confirmed that Jez is Caben-Albi's biological father the pair confirmed they're co-parenting their son and back in February the former couple were spotted taking an afternoon stroll with their baby.
Steph's spokesperson said at the time: "Stephanie wants to address the rumours that have been reported in the press over the last few days regarding herself and Jeremy.
"At the present time they're co-parenting and it works. Together they're discussing Caben's wants and needs and deciding what's best.
"Caben will always be their number one priority and being the best parents to their little boy is paramount to them," they told the Mirror.
Things took a turn for the worst earlier this month after the ex-lovers unfollowed each other following rumours that Jeremy was heading into the next series of Ex on the Beach and then Steph caused concern after she posted a photo of her bruised legs on Snapchat.
In a series of now-deleted tweets Steph hinted towards the allegations that Jeremy assaulted her. On Twitter she wrote: "Jeremy knows he's done wrong. To do what he did to the mother of his child, he knows isn't right. U can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped. I have done all I can regardless what has been thrown in my face."
She continued and said: "He hasn't [any] family left bar us. And he treats me like this. Devastating but I'll deal with it. As always."
She went on to explain that although Jeremy blocked her on Twitter he pulled out of Ex on the Beach for herself and Caben to prove he loved them. She ended her rant by admitted she'll always stand by him.
Although Steph has deleted those tweets she has since tweeted: "Emotionally and mentally drained. Time for a change. Madness how much u help someone to just have it thrown back in your face.
"Thanks for all the support."
The former Celebrity Big Brother couple have been through a lot of drama. They began dating in the CBB house (while Steph was dating Sam Reece), after they decided to split following cheating rumours Steph announced she was pregnant. Jeremy denied being the father until the baby was born and he appeared on This Morning to do a live DNA test.
