Stephanie, 22, was allegedly due to join stars including Ferne McCann and EastEnders’ Jake Wood for this year’s show, but is said to have failed medical tests thanks to her fatal nut allergy.

According to the Daily Star, ITV bosses are worried for Steph’s health should she have a reaction, as the nearest hospital is an hour away from the jungle camp.

A source told the publication the former Hollyoaks actress is ‘devastated’ over not being able to take part, adding: “She was so looking forward to this.”

Steph was axed from the Channel 4 soap earlier this year, after reportedly turning up to set drunk.

This is said to be the latest spanner in the works for I’m a Celeb, after TOWIE stars Chloe Sims and Gemma Collins both failed their psych tests.

Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison is said to be on of this year’s campers, but producers are now rushing to find someone who’ll look as good in a bikini as Steph.

I’m a Celebrity will return on Sunday 15 November, and a spokesperson said: “We will announce our line up in due course.”
