BBC Breakfast star Steph McGovern has confirmed the news that she is expecting her first baby with her TV exec girlfriend.
The news was reported in The Sun, with a source claiming the presenter had told family and friends she is due in November.
Steph, 37, has now taken to Twitter to confirm the news with an excited tweet.
She wrote, “I see my news is out. Yep I am no longer with pot belly…… I am now with child. #babyonboard.”
Steph referenced a tweet she sent out in 2018 in which she shot down rumours she was pregnant by writing, “For those who are congratulating me on my ‘pregnancy’. I am not ‘with child’. I am with ‘pot belly.’”
She later said: ‘I’d definitely be in the wrong job if I got offended by comments like that.
