Stacey Solomon jokes that her kids love Joe Swash MORE than her

She's the mother we all aspire to be, but Stacey Solomon has admitted her children love boyfriend Joe Swash more than her.

The Loose Women star, who is expecting her first child with Joe, has son, Zachary, 10 with Dean Cox, and Leighton, six, with Aaron Barham, while Joe also has Harry, 11, with ex Emma Sophocleous.

But in an interview with This Morning's Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, 29-year-old Stacey joked that her kids prefer Joe.

"He is so much fun and the kids adore him, and almost more than they like me sometimes" she laughed.

It sounds like the smitten couple have a hectic house, as Stacey explained, “It’s really lovely actually, because Joe and I are together with my two children, and his child stays with us when he can.

“I say my two children – Joe is like, my third child. I’ve got three with him around!”

Stacey also revealed their excitement for their first baby together and revealed that she and Joe can't wait to find out the gender - but she's hoping it'll be a girl.

“We’re definitely going to find out, we’re super impatient,” she said. “I like to be prepared.

"I’d love to have a girl, but then I started panicking thinking – ‘I don’t know girls!’

“Not that there’s any difference, but because I have boys already I’m confident and know what’s coming.

“In all honesty, I’ll just be so grateful if we have a healthy baby. It’s a real privilege."

The stars revealed they were expecting with an Instagram post, with Joe sharing a snap of Stacey asleep on the sofa.

"Have been driving myself mad thinking that she’s bored senseless of me and can’t stand to be awake for longer than 10 minutes of my company... So you can imagine my delight to find out that she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby," he captioned the pic.

"I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news.

"We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child. It’s all very overwhelming and emotional and we couldn’t be happier right now."
