The 25-year-old has been busy with her many high-profile TV appearances, including winning I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2010.
Since then, Stacey has juggled presenting jobs with raising her two sons, Zachary, six, and Leighton, two, but she's finally getting back to the music.
Confirming that the album Shy will be released in April, Stacey said: "This album may have been a long time coming but I love it!
"Making this album the best it can be has been hard work but so rewarding. I can't wait for people to hear it, I'm so proud of it."
The first single from the album, also called Shy, will be released on March 2. It was co-written by The Voice coach Rita Ora, so it's almost guaranteed to be a hit.
Stacey was originally meant to release her first album in 2012, but plans were shelved.
Despite enjoying TV success, Stacey insists she has never forgotten her dream of being a singer.
She added: "I've had the opportunity to do some amazing things over the past few years, I'm so grateful, but first and foremost I'm a singer."
