Geri Halliwell, 42, Emma Bunton, 39, and Melanie C, 41, travelled to Marrakech for David's celebrations – but 39-year-old Mel B was noticeably absent.

Luckily 41-year-old Victoria's close friend Eva Longoria was able to to fill in for Scary Spice. The former Desperate Housewives star, 40, uploaded a snap of the five of them to Instagram, and joked that she is Latina Spice.

Earlier in the day Eva posted a picture with David and Victoria's eldest son Brooklyn, 16, questioning how the teen has managed to amass more followers than her on.

She said: "How did this happen? @brooklynbeckham not only beat me to 1M, he now has 2M?? #DB40 [sic]"

David has been making the most of Instagram since joining yesterday morning. After THAT bed selfie, he continued to give fans little peeks into his birthday bash.

In the evening, he shared a picture of Victoria cuddled up to him, writing: "Thanks to my beautiful wife for such an amazing day x [sic]"

Victoria also shared one of her and David posing by a pool, adding: "Special evening with family and friends x [sic]"
