Simon Cowell is known for judging on various talent shows that we have all come to know and love on Saturday night TV.
And at just two years old, Simon says his son Eric Cowell is already showing signs of becoming a great talent show judge.
Speaking to People, Simon revealed: “He’s the world’s cutest little boy.
“I’ve got to tell you, he’s going to be my little right-hand man — anything he likes I like.”
But fans of the 56-year-old X Factor judge would have already seen little Eric starting to look like his dad from a much younger age…
And Cheryl’s recent post of grown up Eric on her Instagram definitely showed the similarities of the pair.
Captioning the post “Look at Eric … Mini @SIMONCOWELL but cute!!”, she shared a snap of Eric in sunglasses and a shirt, much like his dad’s regular attire.
And soon Eric could be following in Simon’s footsteps as the music mogul explained how his son helps him with judging auditions: “He’s brilliant, he comes down to the auditions and really enjoys the acts.
“He’s very good to watch, funnily enough, because I can see when he’s bored and when he’s up dancing. He’s a good critic already. He’s unpaid, but he’s helping me!”
But since Simon welcomed son Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, he’s admitted that family life has given him a new, softer side to critiquing contestants on his shows.
Simon revealed that having a child makes him feel “different” as he now understands what it would feel like if it were his son on the stage facing the judges.
However, the Britain’s Got Talent creator said that Eric definitely knows how to get his own way with dad Simon.
"He's exactly like me when I was younger, he's so cheeky, and he knows how to get me wrapped around his little finger," he said.
"When it's time to go to bed, the bottom lip comes out and it's like, 'Just one more minute, just one more minute, I want to watch Toy Story! I want to read a story!'"

We think it’s lovely that Simon is loving his time being father to little Eric, and we can’t wait to see what the mini-Cowell has in store for the future!
