The obviously proud new dad tweeted the black and white images of himself, Lauren and baby Eric.
The first picture, of the happy parents and new baby, was captioned: ‘Mum, dad and Eric. Now two days old.”
Simonthen tweeted a snap of Eric on his own, writing: “Now you can see how very handsome little Eric is.”
Finally, he shared a picture of Eric laying on his chest with the words: “I never knew how much love and pride I would feel.”
Simon’s famous friends rushed to send him their messages of congratulations yesterday.
David Walliams joked: “Huge congratulations to Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman on the birth of their son. They have named him David Sinitta Louis-Walsh Cowell.”
Fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon gushed: “Simon Cowell congratulations!!! Yay!!! Such great news! Welcome to the world baby Eric! Lots of love xxx”
Eric was born at 10.45pm UK time, weighing 6lb 7oz.
