It’s been no secret that X Factor’s Simon Cowell hopes to give son Eric a baby brother or sister, but he has revealed that he is now considering adopting his next child.

The music mogul- who’s partner Lauren Silverman gave birth to Eric last year- told the Daily Star: “I’m beginning to warm to the idea. We do want to have more children of our own but we could adopt as well. I wouldn't rule out it happening. It's a good idea.”

Simon’s ex-girlfriend and best friend Sinitta adopted both her 9-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son, prompting Simon to consider adoption as a sound option.

He also revealed that he worries that his 1-year-old son could grow up to be a ‘brat’.

In order to prevent this from happening, Simon told the paper that he and Lauren have been strict about manners and teaching him how to be ‘king to animals’.

Simon is currently appearing as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. He is set to return to The X Factor this year though it is not yet known who will be joining him on the panel.
