The Twittersphere blew up amid reports that One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson is about to become a father for the first time.
USA’s People magazine spoke to a source close to stylist Briana Jungwirth, the 23-year-old allegedly carrying Louis’ child.
Now, new reports claim that One Direction manage Simon Cowell has offered his support following the news.
An insider told People” “Simon was one of the first people Louis called after he’d told his family. Louis was so excited and he wanted to tell Simon himself.
“Simon was absolutely delighted for Louis and told him that becoming a dad was the best thing that had ever happened to him. He told him if he ever needed any advice to let him know.
“Simon knows Louis already has lots of experience with babies and adores kids. Louis’ youngest twin brother and sister are only 17 months old and he’s incredibly close to all of his seven siblings — and his mum is a midwife.”
The insider added: “But adjusting to being a dad will be a change, of course, so having Simon’s advice when he needs it means a lot to Louis.”
Simon became a dad for the first time last year when partner Lauren Silverman gave birth to their son Eric.
The X Factor boss split his time between the UK and America as they prepared for the arrival of their bundle of joy.
Louis has reportedly been regularly flying to the states for alleged baby appointments in similar fashion.
Neither Simon, Louis or Briana have yet publicly confirmed or denied that the singer is preparing to become a parent.
