But at the tender age of 21, Sienna has now admitted she thinks she was too naïve for the fame she received.
‘I was a young 21. Not green as grass – I was by no means an innocent – but I had faith in the goodness of everyone.’
And according to the star, who was dating Jude Law at the time of the alleged affair with Craig, she acted so badly during those early years of her career, she struggled to find work.
‘I’d been lucky in that I’d always been naughty in that town [Hollywood] and people had always liked me for it. I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges. I never read a review or paid any mind to what anyone said.’
And it was this feeling of lost control that spurred Sienna on to take a three year break from the industry.
‘I was sick of myself, to be honest, or sick of that perception of me’ says the star.
Sienna’s personal life has been laid bare by the Leveson Enquiry, still ongoing, in which details of hacked voicemails between her and Daniel Craig emerged, as well as between Jude Law and the Bond star.
‘It’s such a raw nerve,’ admitted the actress, ‘it had such a massive effect on me, on my life and career.’
But it seems the 32-year-old is in a much better place than ten years ago, as she admits she feels ‘really settled’ and has a ‘wonderful life’ with actor boyfriend Tom Sturridge.
