Mum-to-be Sheridan Smith has taken to Instagram to share the first images of the baby she’s expecting with fiancé Jamie Horn – and we’re in love.
Baby Sheridan is due in May andthe former Gavin and Stacey star took to the social media platform to share the exciting update with fans, writing, "I’ve just been told that I won’t see this little face for a while now because of lockdown, so thought I’d share his beautiful chubby chops with you guys to cheer me up.
"So grateful we got to @tummy_2_mummy & @donna.grant.75033 for these pics a few weeks ago, I can look at them everyday now till he’s born.
"Hope everyone is doing ok during this crazy time Xx".
Friends and fans were quick to wish her congratulations with former popstar and actress Martine McCutcheon writing, “Oh how lovely!!! Such an exciting and amazing time to come!”

Joanna smashed it as Stacey; the bubbly girl from Barry who got engaged five (yes, five) times before she met the love of her life Gavin. Bless her.

Similar to her character Stacey, Joanna settled down in real life too and is now mum to three children - a daughter, Eva, and her two sons, Kit and Noah.

Err, James Cordon as Smithy was absolutely hilarious tbh. He kept us entertained with his dancing, love for Gavin and love/hate relationship with Nessa.

Oh, what's occurring? Need we say more? Ruth was brilliant as Nessa; fierce and hilarious and as much as we saw how happy she was with Dave, we always knew Smithy was the one that truly had her heart.

Alison's character Pam was probably the most iconic of them all. We loved her that she made to pretend to be a vegetarian up until the Christmas special where she finally told everyone she was eating meat - they all (minus Gwen) knew.

Since Gavin and Stacey ended, Alison has appeared in Orphan Black in 2015 and currently lives in Highgate, London with her partner Michael Elwyn.

Ahh, Rob as Bryn was an absolute classic. There's so many hilarious moments of him to choose from but whenever we think of him our first thought is, of course, the Gavin and Stacey fishing trip...

Long gone are the days of Bryn as a humble telly actor. Rob has since gone on to star in Hollywood movies including The Huntsmen: Winter's War (he played Gryff) and he played Master Phineus in the real life version of Cinderella.

Closer favourite Lizzie Cundy said, “Awww amazing . So happy for you darling girl,” while fellow actress Jamie Winstone added, “MAGIC🔮”.
Fans were also super excited to see the scan, with one writing, “Oh my ... @sheridansmithster .. he looks beautiful on the ‘inside’ and I bet he’ll be a stunner on the ‘outside’! 💙💙 Stay safe.”

Sheridan opened up exclusively to Closer earlier this month about expecting her first child with Jamie, who she met on Tinder in 2018, and naming him after her late dad, Colin.
“We’ve been discussing names. I think all the names we’ve got so far have been pretty traditional,” she said. “We thought about naming him after my dad, but my dad’s called Colin, which is a bit… Well, as much as we miss him and love him, it’s like, ‘Storm, River… Colin?!’ But you never know."
