With new years come new beginnings, and that appears to be exactly the case for Sheridan Smith, judging by her latest tweets.
The award-winning actress took to Twitter to share the cryptic message, which fuelled rumours that she has split with boyfriend Greg Wood, who plays Trevor Royle in Hollyoaks, for the second time.
The couple got together a year ago, but according to The Sun, first split in July 2015, after Sheridan accused the dad-of-three Greg of cheating on her with his on-screen wife, Hollyoaks actress Tamara Wall.
However, it seemed that despite the cheating accusation, the couple were giving their romance another chance.
A source told The Sun: “This relationship was always a rocky one.
“She took him back to give things one last try. They went on holiday together, but things started to disintegrate in December.”
Sheridan has yet to comment on news of the split. Fingers crossed she’s doing okay!
