Former X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue had a very public war of words following the end of their stint on the talent show in 2007.

And it looks as though that row has been reignited, with Sharon revealing the details of their feud in her new book ‘Unbreakable’.

The 60-year-old labeled their time together 'unbearable', 'intolerable' and 'an odious chore', claiming it left her with heart palpitations.

'Outwardly, Dannii seemed all, "Ooh, I love kids and puppies". But in my opinion she was dark, very dark. What you saw was definitely not what you got,' Sharon wrote.

‘The more it progressed, the worse it became between her and me. It was unbelievably bad. Dannii had taken to walking past me in the hallway without even making eye contact. I'd like to say it didn't bother me, but it did.'

Speaking about the reported affair between 41-year-old Dannii Minogue and Simon Cowell, the mother-of-three continued:

'The more it progressed, the worse it became between her and me. Meanwhile, the antics behind the screen had gone up a gear, with her sticking her tongue in Simon's ear and giggling like a b****y teenager as Louis Walsh and I stood their like a couple of gooseberries.'

‘There I was — a successful businesswoman, a mum, a wife, and established as a show judge — being made out to be jealous of a young, single woman who, as far as I am concerned, can’t sing and couldn’t cut a business deal if she tried. Give me a break.’

And the rift beween the judges affected Sharon's decision not to return to the show.

'Ultimately the reason I didn't do the next series was that I didn't get the money I wanted, but the Dannii business was mixed in there too,' Sharon admitted.
