Sharon Osbourne has taken to Twitter to show her support for daughter Kelly after it was announced that she was leaving E! panel show Fashion Police.
The 62-year-old wrote on the social networking site: “I am so proud of you. You can never be bought. You always wear your heart on your sleeve. #ProudToBeYourMum.”
Sharon’s kind words come just days after it was announced that Kelly, 30, had quit Fashion Police.
E! released a statement regarding the matter which confirmed her departure.
Following Kelly’s announcement, news has since surfaced that she was ‘pushed’ out of the show after she refused to support Guiliana Rancic following a recent race row.
Guiliana was forced to apologise when she made comments about Disney actress Zendaya Coleman.
Kelly took to Twitter and said she was ‘questioning’ staying on the show.
A source told RadarOnline: “The network stands behind Giuliana and are furious that Kelly bashed her and the show.
“They feel she threw Giuliana under the bus when she really needed her support.”
Fashion Police only recently returned to our screens after the tragic passing of co-host Joan Rivers last year.
