The fiery music manager, 61, revealed that she is sick of judging other people’s talent, and hit out at contestant ‘sob stories.’
During an appearance on The Conan O’Brien Show, Sharon said: “If one more person stands up in front of me and sings… I’ve had it with people singing at me. I have had it with people singing on TV.
“And they’ve all got something wrong – they have either got one lung, one kidney, or they came up like this or that. They’ve all go somebody sick in hospital.
“It’s like, ‘Oh lord, just shut up and sing’. But when they sing, it’s like ‘please stop it.’
Sharon was obviously using to the appearance to fully let rip into The X Factor, because she went on to slam talent show judges and their ‘fake tears.’
When asked if talent shows are a ‘sham’, she replied: “I am just on a downer today that is all. Too contrived, boring, boring, boring. If I see another judge cry… and as soon as they go out the door we burst out laughing.”
It wasn’t just The X Factor though, Sharon also took a swipe at The Voice, saying: “They are making it out like it is just The Voice. Well hold on here, if ‘you are butt ugly and 9000 pounds’, what are we going to do with you?”
And if you want a singing career, Sharon made it pretty clear she is not interested in helping to make it happen.
She said: “Sometimes it’s happened when I’ve been on planes, a couple of stewards and I’m like, ‘don’t be singing at me darling, look at the bloody emergency exits.”
